WHAT IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?
I am a classic girl who likes to have an updated, modern touch! My photography style focuses on the couple and their day, in a classic, timeless way.
WHAT IS YOUR BACKUP PLAN IN CASE YOU’RE SICK OR THERE IS A EMERGENCY?
Since starting my business, I’ve never missed one wedding. I pray I never do, but in the event that I cannot be at a wedding, I will work to find a photographer in our community with a similar style to take my place.
DO YOU ENCOURAGE COUPLES TO HAVE A WEDDING PLANNER?
Yes! A wedding planner may seem like a vendor category that doesn't need to be filled, but that could not be farther from the truth. A wedding planner will help you stay organized, save you money, recommend vendors, and more. From beginning to end, the wedding planner helps to reduce stress, wrangle all the details, and is an advocate for the bride and groom.
If you do not want a full service planner, please consider event management or month of planner to help ensure the day runs smoothly. The planner will be the one that takes care of any issues - usually without the bride or groom knowing - and gets all of the details done so the bride, groom, and family can enjoy the day and not work the day!
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
I use professional Nikon equipment including multiple camera bodies and a variety of professional lenses and lighting equipment. For the getting ready and ceremony part of the day, I usually utilize natural light. For family formals, off-camera lighting is used if needed. Off-camera lighting is used during the reception part of the wedding.
DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS?
I do travel for weddings! Please contact me for travel details and fees. There are no travels fees for weddings within the North Florida, Palm Coast, Ponte Vedra or Ocala areas. Please inquire for travel outside of the state of Florida and current travel fees.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE WEDDING COLLECTIONS AND WHAT IS THE INVESTMENT?
All of the wedding collections include a private online gallery and the finished, high-resolution images. If you select a collection with an album, the digital files are given once the album is completed. The album is an 10×10, 15 page, magazine style spread, leather cover, heirloom album.
Changes to the album size, page number, or other options are available for an additional charge. The digital files are provided when the album design is completed and payment for any additional upgrades is provided. The finished images will come on a USB with a print release. Albums are also available for purchase after the wedding if you decide to book a collection with digital images at first. Parent albums are also available.
The collections begin at $3,000. Regardless of which collection you go with, each collection includes the finished, digital files. You are welcome to add on a second photographer for an additional charge. An assistant works with me at each wedding to allow me to focus solely on you and the wedding day.
WHY ARE YOU A GOOD FIT FOR YOUR CLIENT’S?
I think my background in the service industry is a big asset to me, along with being a mom. The ability to handle a fast moving day with many variables is important, as is being able to stay focused, and keep my clients' comfortable.
A wedding vendor wears many hats on the day of the wedding, and being able to work together with other vendors in a professional and courteous way is extremely important!
WHAT DO YOU DO TO GET READY FOR A COUPLES WEDDING DAY?
I limit my number of weddings so I am truly invested in my couple’s and their wedding day. Also, staying organized and communicating. I am a type A personality, so I ensure that my couple’s know what I need from them to capture the day in the way they expect me to.
I make sure that my client’s have thought about family members they want for pictures before the wedding day, that I know what those groups are, and let the bride know what to have ready for me to get their detail pictures when I arrive. Additionally, I work with their planners to allow the time needed for pictures, and stay flexible through out the wedding day.
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO BOOK WITH YOU?
The best time to book with me is as soon as your venue and date are confirmed. Many of my couples' book with me up to 12 months prior to their wedding. I have booked as far as two years in advance, so it is never too early to inquire or confirm my availability.
HOW DO WE BOOK YOU FOR OUR WEDDING DAY?
I would love to be a part of your day! To book me, I require a signed contract and a retainer/booking fee. The retainer/booking fee is 30% of your collection balance and goes directly towards your collection balance. Contracts are sent electronically and the retainer/booking fee is welcome to be paid by cash, check, or credit card.
ARE YOU LICENSED AND INSURED?
I am licensed and insured. Many of the venues require proof of insurance for vendors. If my insurance information is needed, I am happy to send it to the venue.
