The Ribault Club is located on Fort George Island, just north of Jacksonville. It is known for the historically restored club, gorgeous oak trees filled with Spanish Moss, and southern charm. The club originates to 1928 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. The venue is perfect for both intimate and large events. Their website states that they can host events up to 400 guests.
The wedding venue has the flexibility for indoor and outdoor events. This couple used the indoor ceremony and reception space. The hot weather during the summer in Florida makes that a great choice! There is also the option of the ceremony under the canopy of the trees or in the front of the venue. Any of these make gorgeous options and allow the couple to make the venue work with their vision for the day!
For the reception, many couples choose to use the back porch of the venue. A checkered dance floor string lights illuminate the reception is always a good idea. With the checkered dance floor, string and LED lighting, and family and friends dancing, the outside reception space makes a statement! Additionally, the neutral colors inside and out allow the colors, decor, and design of the wedding to be on display.
